Bobcat Biz Newsletter | November 1–7, 2026
Moments That Matter
A new month brings a new focus to Bountiful Elementary! As we move from October's Kindness Matters to November's Gratitude Matters theme, we're encouraging our Bobcats to recognize the people, experiences, and opportunities that make a difference in their lives.
Throughout November, we're inviting Bountiful Elementary families and community to share their gratitude by recognizing someone who made a positive difference.
We want to hear about the moments that matter to you and share them with the people who make our school special. Big or small, every moment of appreciation deserves to be noticed.
Share Your Gratitude — Recognize a Moment That Mattered
Gratitude is more than saying thank you. It's noticing the good around us, appreciating the people who help us grow, and finding ways to give back. Let's make November a month of noticing, appreciating, and recognizing impactful moments.
From new learning opportunities to community events, November offers plenty of ways to put gratitude into action.

Reminders
Daylight Savings
Daylight saving time ended Sunday, November 1. Now is the time to make sure you've turned your clocks back an hour.
Colder Weather Is Here!
Mornings are getting chilly! Please make sure students arrive at school prepared for outdoor activities and recess.
We also encourage families to label cold-weather clothing with their student's name so lost items can find their way home.
Smart Watches & Personal Devices
Students may still bring smartwatches and other personal electronic devices to school, but they must be put away and secured during the school day.
Simply turning a smartwatch off or placing it in silent mode while wearing it is no longer sufficient. Devices must be stored in a backpack or another appropriate location and set to a mode that prevents notifications.

P.A.W.S. in Action | Kindness Matters
Congratulations to our October Make It Matter Award winners, recognized for demonstrating our monthly focus of Kindness Matters!
These students showed that kindness can make a difference through their words, actions, and the way they treat those around them. We're proud to celebrate these Bobcats for helping make Bountiful Elementary a place where everyone feels valued and included.

Make It Matter | Gratitude in Action
As we begin November, we invite our Bobcat families to make gratitude something they practice, not just something they talk about.
Thank a teacher. Recognize a classmate's effort. Appreciate someone who helps behind the scenes. Find a small way to make someone else's day better.
A simple thank-you can make a bigger difference than we realize.
Gratitude Matters. Let's Make It Matter, Bobcats!
