Your Back-to-School Checklist
Before Thursday, August 20th, aka the first day of school, families should:
Log in to myDSD to review classroom assignments
Review Documents in myDSD and accept all notices for each student enrolled at Bountiful Elementary.
Sign up for and complete Kindergarten screening if applicable
Review the official school calendar from the district
Follow Bountiful Elementary on Instagram and/or Facebook for additional highlights.
Purchase a yearbook via myDSD (Tools > Payments > Optional Fees)
Bookmark the Bountiful Events Calendar. We recommend using both "list view" and "upcoming events" together for the best experience.
Reminders
Summer Office Hours
Bountiful Elementary's front office is open on Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. during the summer.
Families may stop by during these hours for school-related assistance before the regular school year begins.
General PTA Meeting
There is a general PTA meeting on Wednesday, August 5th at 2:20 p.m. All are welcome and it is a fantastic way to get involved at the school.
Help Bobcat Families Get Ready
Clean, gently used clothing for children and adults may be dropped off in the front office on Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. through August 11.
Donated clothing will be made available to families during Back to School Night.

Popsicles & Play
Kindergarten families are invited to attend a special event just for them on the kindergarten play ground on Monday, August 17th from 5:00-5:30 p.m.
Back to School Night
Join us on Back to School Night on Monday, August 17, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Families can meet teachers, visit classrooms, explore the school and get prepared for for the year ahead.
There will be resources available for families and we will ask for you to please fill out our annual Family Needs Assessment. Please take a few minutes to complete it as it help us know how we can best support you!
The First Day of School
Important Times
Breakfast begins at 8:20 a.m. Students arriving earlier may wait in the front vestibule until the doors open.
School begins at 8:50 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 8:55 a.m.
Thursday, August 20 is also an early out day, with dismissal at 1:30 p.m.
Bobcat Red Carpet
To make the morning extra special, all students are invited to enter through the front doors on our Bobcat red carpet. Support staff will be waiting inside to cheer them on, welcome them back, and help them find their classrooms.
Students who would prefer a quieter arrival may use the alternate entrance to the right of the main doors, where staff will be ready to provide extra support.
The Building is a No Parent Zone.
For student safety, parents will not be able to enter the building on the first morning. We know the first day can bring both excitement and nerves. Our caring staff will be ready to help every Bobcat feel welcome, confident, and prepared for a great start.
