THREE. TEAMS. TO. STATE. 🏆🐾🤖 Bountiful Elementary is headed to the Utah VEX IQ State Championship with not 1, not 2, but 3 qualifying teams! Today we’re celebrating two more Bobcat teams who punched their ticket through World Skills: ✅ VEXers — Skills Score Qualified ✅ BOT_BROS — Skills Score Qualified That means our State lineup is officially: THE 4BIDDEN5 + VEXers + BOT_BROS 💚 These skills scores don’t happen by accident—this is hours of building, coding, testing, failing, fixing, and trying again. We’re so proud of the work (and grit!) these teams have put in.

Each week, our school focuses on a Manner of the Week — a modern manner that students learn about and practice together across classrooms and shared spaces.

  • This week’s focus is Cleaning Up After Yourself.

Students are learning that taking responsibility for their own messes helps keep our school organized, welcoming, and ready for everyone to use.

These weekly manners are designed to be informative and to encourage conversations at home. Talking about simple habits — like putting materials away or tidying up shared spaces — helps reinforce responsibility beyond the school day.

🧠👣 Every click leaves a footprint. Last week, we talked about privacy and security — how to protect personal information online. This week, we’re building on that idea by looking at something just as important: digital footprints and identity. From photos and comments to games and apps, kids start forming a digital footprint earlier than many of us realize. Over time, those small choices add up — shaping how others see them and how they see themselves. That’s why we’re encouraging families to talk about: • pausing before sharing • modeling thoughtful online behavior • understanding that apps collect information • remembering that kindness and respect matter online, too Digital identity doesn’t happen by accident — it grows through everyday choices. 💚 Swipe through for conversation starters you can use at home. #DigitalCitizenship #DigitalFootprint #OnlineSafety #FamilyConversations #WeDefineWhoWeAre

Green slide with the heading “We Define Who We Are.” Supporting text explains that every photo, post, comment, and click contributes to a digital footprint and that the week focuses on helping kids understand how online choices reflect who they are and who they want to be.
Green slide with the heading “Digital Footprints.” The text explains that digital footprints begin earlier than many people think, starting with shared photos, games, and apps, and that talking about this helps kids understand online actions leave traces over time.
Green slide with the heading “Modeling Matters.” The text explains that kids learn digital habits by watching adults and that how adults share photos, stories, and information sends strong messages. It notes that involving kids in sharing decisions helps them feel ownership of their digital identity.
Green slide with the heading “Pause Before Sharing.” The text explains that not everything needs to be posted and that encouraging kids to pause and think builds awareness around online choices. Example questions include how a post represents them and whether they would be comfortable if others saw it.
Green slide with the heading “Every App Leaves a Trail.” The text explains that digital footprints include more than posts, noting that accounts, games, and apps can collect and share information behind the scenes. It emphasizes reviewing permissions and privacy settings together to build awareness.
Green slide with the heading “Identity Is Built Over Time.” The text explains that who we are online should reflect who we are offline and that positive digital identity grows through kindness, honesty, and respect. It highlights supporting kids as they build an online presence they can be proud of.
It’s competition day! 🤖💚 This morning, three of our Bobcat Robotics teams are heading into their first VEXIQ competition of the season — and we couldn’t be prouder of the work they’ve put in to get here. Weeks of building, testing, fixing, rebuilding, teamwork, and problem-solving all lead to today. No matter how the matches go, these students are already winning by showing perseverance, creativity, and courage.
